New large-scale energy storage from electric vehicle batteries: Fenecon and The Mobility House Energy industrialize the construction and marketing of EV battery storage systems- In Grevesmühlen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, a large-scale battery storage system with a capacity of 48 MWh is being made from new vehicle batteries that combines economic efficiency with a resource-conserving circular economy.
- Fenecon is developing and producing modular storage containers that efficiently and standardizedly integrate obsolete EV batteries from various manufacturers into stationary large-scale storage systems.
